FEB24 #TEMakerChallenge

For the Month of February 2024 Taylored Expressions has posted the new #TEMakeChallenge! Here are the detes!

I'm ALL about PINKS so this challenge is right up my alley and I couldn't wait to get my first card made. (As I make more I'll add them to this post).

I grabbed a couple of the newer stamp & die sets from the Perfect Pairings release (Dec 2023) as I think Bubblegum & Dragon Fruit make the most beautiful florals. I've chosen to use Meadow Cinquefoil & Meadow Aster for my card. The sentiment is also from the Meadow Aster stamp set.

While the Taylored Expressions inks aren't water based, I decided to try one of my favorite coloring tools - a Tombow water-based colorless N00 blender brush - and to my surprise it worked wonderfully!

After adding some gold spatters to the white card panels and white splatter to the florals I then heat embossed the sentiment in TE Gold embossing powder then assembled the card using a piece of Dragon Fruit card stock to highlight the floral panel and think it turned out so pretty. Here's the finished card 🩷🌸
