🌸 May ... A Month of Flowers

This is my Birthday month and I LOVE flowers in my garden and on my cards so I'm going to focus on creating at least 1 floral card each day and uploading it to my Instagram. 💕 May 15th Entry: Basket full of flowers

For today's Month Of Flowers entry I used the Taylored Expressions Present Treat Wrap and Flower Market to make this fun little basket full of flowers. Here's how it all came together . . .

First off I just want to remind you that I've using some retired Taylored Expressions items in my Month Of Flowers  cards and that's the case with this one as well so if you decide to make a version of this, just grab your favorite flower and greenery dies and it'll look great!

I decided to use the Present Treat Wrap die to create this fun little basket and to give it some texture I used the Chevron embossing folder (retired) on a piece of Toffee card stock. Then for the bow I sprayed a scrap piece of Toffee card stock with Unicorn Mist so it'd add a little sparkle to the card.

For the floral pieces I used the Flower Market stamp and die set (retired) and heat embossed all of those pieces with TE gold embossing powder. I then used a few of my OLO markers to color in the flowers and some of the leaves.

For that back card panel I used the Brush Strokes stencils and lightly created some stripes using Sea Salt ink. This gives that white panel a little movement and visual interest. Then I added the scallop edge using the Frame In Frame 2 die set.

And just to zhuzh the card up a bit more I sprayed the Toffee card base with more Unicorn Mist spray. (I love that stuff and go through bottles of it like it's candy 😂)

To finish this one off I placed 5 clear Drip Drops around the flowers and basket and this one is ready for a decorated envelope and off in the mail 📬.
