This is my Birthday month and I LOVE flowers in my garden and on my cards so I'm going to focus on creating at least 1 floral card each day and uploading it to my Instagram. As I create these cards I'll tag each Blog Post with Month Of Flowers so you can find them easily. Be sure to check back throughout the month to see what I've created. If you're subscribed to my Blog you'll get a daily email of my latest entry! 🌼
💕 May 17th Entry: Scribbled Rose in Black
For today's Month Of Flowers entry I chose a retired background stamp called Scribbled Rose. It comes with a clear set of roses and leaves to ink (fill in) those elements if you choose to do so.
I actually did 2 backgrounds when I got this stamp set out. One with white pigment ink onto a piece of Eggplant cardstock and this black on white version. Out of the two, this one's my favorite and 'made the cut'!
Using the Taylored Expressions A2 Layering Stacklets and the A2 Additional Layering Stacklets I was able to create the frames out of the Rose panel and a piece of Oreo cardstock.
Does this look familiar? Do you have Scribbled Rose tucked away in your crafty stash?
Once I had this card all assembled I felt it still needed something so grabbed one of the rose clear stamps and my Cupcake ink pad and gave just one of those flowers a little color.
After adding a sentiment from the You Are - Additions sentiment stamp and die set and adding a few Clear Drip Drops, this one is complete.
I appreciate you stopping by today and hope you'll come back tomorrow to see the fun card I've created for you!
Happy crafting!
xoxo, Deby 💕
