This is my Birthday month and I LOVE flowers in my garden and on my cards so I'm going to focus on creating at least 1 floral card each day and uploading it to my Instagram. 💕 May 18th Entry: Dutch Garden
For today's Month Of Flowers entry I used the Taylored Expressions Dutch Garden set of products. Here's how it all came together . . .
First off I grabbed the Dutch Garden Foil-It panels and foiled one of them with Taylored Expressions Champagne Fun Foil.
Next I grabbed some of my favorite Taylored Expressions inks and the coordinating Dutch Garden layering stencils and filled in all those adorable flowers and while I had the inks out I die-cut the flower images and inked them up as well.
Up next I used the Petite Scallop Stacklets to cut the Dutch Garden panel as well as the Toffee card base.
Next I knew I wanted my sentiment to stand out as well as a place to put the cut-out flower so grabbed the Taylored Expressions Stitched Banner Stacklets and cut that out of a scrap piece of Sugar Cube cardstock then trimmed the right side with the Petite Scallop die so it would match-up with the Dutch Garden panel.
I had already prepared several sentiments from the Taylored Expressions Mini Strips - Floral set so cut the piece I chose to use into 3 pieces to layer it onto the Stitched Banner piece. Adhered those down as well as the cut-out flower then adhered the Dutch Garden panel to the Toffee base, then hit it all with some Gansai Tambi gold splatter. Let that dry then adhered that to a card base and this one is done! 🙂
