🌸 Shades of Spring release

The highly anticipated new Taylored Expressions Color Release happens today!

I've had fun reading y'alls New Color Name guesses on the Fans of TE Facebook Page the past few days! If you were part of this past Advent Calendar you already knew the new Bleu Cheese color name but did you guess the others correctly?

I'm a denim-wearing girl so I love the new Bleu Cheese color! It's pretty close to Denim and I'm pretty sure that would have been it's name if TE didn't use food names 😉

In this first set of cards I'm sharing with you today I used the Poster Prints CIQ layering stencils and ink blended with the new Bleu Cheese and Green Tea along with other coordinating colors as seen in the My True Colors card in the photo below.

Using these 2 new colors to add depth to their lighter counter-parts for these pretty florals sure makes for a couple of striking cards. Don't you agree?

Next up is a duo of cards I used 3 of the new card stock colors along with 2 of the new inks to create a Mother's Day and a Father's Day card. I had fun changing up the way I layered the card stock strips using the TE Basketweave cutting plate die and to add a little more visual interest I used the TE Linen Background Stamp using both the new Oat Milk card stock and matching ink for the upper portion of each card.
