☀️Sunshine & Rainbows 🌈

Paying homage to the Taylored Expressions Throwback Thursdays that are being featured throughout March & April, this week we're seeing products brought back from last November's Black Friday sale as well as the adorable Here Comes The Sun kit offered last April as well as the addition of lots of bling and sparkly card stock to add to your crafty stash.

I live in the desert Southwest so anything relating to plants and sun make my heart happy 🩷 and when I saw the Here Comes The Sun kit offered in April 2023 I just HAD to have it so I am ecstatic that it has been added to the TE Store for all to enjoy! ☀️

I mean ... just look at these cards! You can't help but smile looking at them. Am I right!?!

I wanted to emphasize the 'key' word in these sentiments so did a little masking so the middle word could shine bright in Lemon Meringue ink. I then used VersaMark and clear embossing powder to give them a lot of shine so the message would really stand out on my cards.

☀️ I apologize because I totally forgot to take "In Process" photos of this one so I'll do my best to explain. I used 2 of the sun cut-out dies on my scalloped panel then stamped the suns onto Lemon Meringue cardstock, hit the upper righthand sun with glue and white glitter, then adhered them to the back of the scalloped panel aligning them so their cute faces could be seen through. The remainder of the suns were stamped directly onto the scalloped panel in varying colors of Taylored Expressions inks.

☀️ One of my favorite cutting plates is the TE Swirls Pierce & Cut Plate! It reminds of what wind would look like if we could see it so think it lends itself perfectly with this cute Sun. Once again you can see that I masked the sentiment so the "brighten" would really stand out.

🌈 And for the "Rainbow" portion of my projects I created this next card using the new Rainbow Bright 2 cutting plate to make waves of rainbow colors. Then to highlight the sentiment I created a landing banner using the narrow part of the rainbow pieces that I had cut off so the Rainbow would fit on the panel I had prepared.
