Talking In Circles continued . . .

Tuesday was the big Release of the new Taylored Expressions card making kit. Today I'm going to show some In Process photos of the BONUS project I featured on my Instagram page this past Tuesday.

I used one of the new Talking In Circles MAPS in Sugar Cube to put a design together, then used that to place my pieces onto my card base.

Once I had my design figured out and arranged I decided to grab a piece of Taylored Expressions Premium Cupcake card stock and, using the Linen background stamp and some Sugar Cube ink, gave some dimension to the card base. I let that dry for several hours so I didn't smear it.

Next I grabbed the new Talking In Circles Piercing Plate to put the design into my embossed card base to give me direction when placing my Circle pieces. I also pulled a piece of Raspberry Sorbet card stock and used the Frame in Frame 3 die set to create a frame for my card project.

Next up ... time to place my circle pieces and trim a little off the sides so my Raspberry Sorbet frame will show through!

For the sentiment I used the Sentiment Strips Foil-It + Sentiment Strips die then embellished with some Bits & Pieces - Clay Flowers.

And there we have it. A fun card to send to a Friend to let them know I'm thinking of them. How often do you send a card Just to Share some Joy and create Smiles? I need to do it more but try to send at least one out per month and sometimes leave them on desks of ladies at my office.
