TE New Card Kit Release

Hopefully you caught the LIVE Release with Taylor this morning and saw all of the amazing cards made by the Design Team. It always amazes me how different our styles are and with this kit that was no different!

Even my own 3 projects are so different from each other! From the color palettes to the design ... they are all so different!

💙 First up let's look at the Honey & Blue Corn card. This one turned out SO cute! I wish you could see it in person to grasp all of the dimension and detail. It isn't only eye catching but has a nice hand feel to it as well because of the use of an embossing folder.

💙 Next up is the fun and whimsical Stenciled Heart card. I actually used some retired TE washi tape as inspiration for the colors on the heart stenciled piece and just love how the hearts play so well with the dots and woodgrain background stamp included in the Patterned Pieces card kit. I added lots of small gold splatter to the hearts panel then did a diagonal design on the card base using my score buddy. I'm thrilled with how great this card turned out!

💙 And lastly we have a Pastel Quilt card using pastels. I designed this one to look like an actual quilt and layered pieces of patterns around the card as I remember my mother's sewing room floor used to look. She was a professional seamstress so there was always fabric scraps laying around the floor in her sewing room! Using pastel colors lended itself to a soft, warm hug for a friend who needed to know I was thinking of her while she was ill.
