This weeks Throwback Thursday featured product is With All My Art so we'll be seeing some of the products that were first introduced in March 2023 in the With All My Art card making kit as well as the introduction and addition of the Painterly Layering Stencil and coordinating dies, so let's get started!
I unfortunately missed out on the With All My Art card making kit when it was released last year so will be taking advantage of some of those elements being added to the Taylored Expressions Shop in the future but for now I'll share with you some of the cards I made using the new Painterly Layering Stencil & dies.
I've added this graphic so you can see how your stenciled panels will look once you've completed inking them up because as you can see in the photo below I cut one of the elements in half (sometimes I just like to go a bit rogue 😉).
I just love the artsy, paint-swatched style of these stenciled pieces! It gives both the butterfly and heart a look you don't normally see ~ they've even gone a bit rogue!
Here's how my cards came together. I forgot to take a quick pic as I was using the Macaron ink but you can see in the middle photo where it was applied.
For the two outer cards in the picture of the three cards I used a piece of Dragonfruit card stock and stamped the Make A Splash background stamp with Sugar Cube ink. I then grabbed the Dragonfruit ink and stamped the Linen background stamp on top of that. Then, taking a note from Heather Nichols 😉, I splattered the panel pretty heavily with Dr. P.H Martins bleedproof white.
Knowing I was going to cut this panel into strips, I drew a heart, flower and triangle symbol on the back of that panel so I could place the strips in the correct order onto my card base so the design of that panel would flow in the right order. Trust me, you might think it's easy to line the strips back up, but sometimes things just don't work out as expected so it really is worth this extra step! Ask me how I know . . .
To make spacing the strips evenly I cut a piece of scrap card stock the width that I wanted to space them and used it while placing the strips down. (you can see that spacing strip held by my magnets in the photo on the left)
Here's a closer look at the three cards I made with the Painterly Layering Stencil & dies.
Thanks so much for dropping by today! I truly appreciate your support and interest in my work and would super appreciate your support on my InstaGram account as well if you can pop over real quick and give me a Follow. Have an amazing day!

Really like the step by step on how you made the card. Especially the background and then cut strip. Fabulous vibrant colors.
