How does Deby store her foiling panels? 🗂️
I know this has been a well-visited topic about ways to store foiling panels and for me, I wanted something that could display every panel offered in each package so I can see what's available at a glance. I've searched high and low and all over the internet then finally found the system you'll see below. I'm including quick links in this article to the webstore if you'd like to take a look for yourself.
As I started collecting the foiling panels I didn't mind storing them in an acrylic bin that sits on one of my crafting tables but as my collection has grown I needed a different solution so I could actually 👀 see what I have. You know what they say ... "out of sight - out of mind" and that held true for my foiling panels. I haven't been using them as often as I should because it's kind of a pain to shuffle thru all of those packages and still only see the front panel.

So after much searching I'm thrilled to announce that I found exactly what I had envisioned finding. There's even been some chatter with a couple of my Crafting Besties (you know who you are) of ways for us to actually manufacture something just like this but I knew it had to be out there somewhere and Here It Is!!! 🙌🏻
I went from the acrylic storage bins to adding these 2 Scrapbook Journals with sleeves that fit the foiling panels perfectly! They take up the same amount of space on my craft table yet hold SO much more product AND I can actually see every single foiling panel I have in my crafty stash! That's a Win-Win!!

Having the ability to quickly flip through these journals to find the appropriate and perfect foiling panel for my card creations is a dream! For now I've got one journal for the Insider foiling panels then all the other types are in the other binder. And, of course, they're stored in alphabetical order for quick reference. (I also have all of my foiling panels cataloged in my Evernote program which makes the entire experience even that much faster and easier in locating the perfect panel.)

In some cases I had multiple packages of some of these foiling panels so you'll be happy to know that I can get as many as 5 of each panel into each pocket and still be able to pull them out easily. To stretch the use of your sleeves you could try having one package facing front and one behind it but I found it much easier to use 1 sleeve per package but ... you do what works for you!
And what I found helpful was using the "label" panel from each package to slip behind the foil panels in the upper right hand corner (see above photo). That way I can easily see the name of that set and keep them filed in alphabetical order so I can quickly locate the set that I want for my project.
The binders I have pictured and am using are the Scrapbook.com - 12x12 Three Ring Album in mint. They're heavy-duty and super well made and come in a myriad of colors and designs. My craft room has a farmhouse vibe so the teal color goes nicely with the natural wood and white furniture in my crafty space.
And for the inserts I'm using the Scrapbook.com - Universal 12 x 12 Pocket Page Protectors with 6, 4 x 6 Inch Vertical Pockets with the openings on the top. These are heavy-duty clear plastic sleeves and perfectly hold those pre-cut foiling panels. I didn't include a photo but I also have a couple of those sleeves housing my cute envelope stickers!
So no matter what you've found or are still looking for to store your Taylored Expressions foiling panels, be sure to find something that works for you, your space and your needs in a way that you'll actually see and use your foiling panels and not just something to store them in. Remember ... Out of Sight - Out of Mind!
