💜 Mosaic Heart scallop card
When I first laid eyes on the Mosaic Heart dies I knew I had to create a layered square card featuring the pieced-together heart and to be honest, it turned out prettier than what I had first imaged.
Before I started my card making journey I used to do abstract paintings and loved to create with alcohol inks. With this in mind I grabbed some Taylored Expressions re-inkers and dipped some card stock to create this pretty purple background piece. The photos below show that process. If you decide to give it a try be sure to wear gloves or your hands will be quite colorful 🤣😬!
After my inked piece of card stock was completely dry I cut it using the Mosaic Heart die. I also cut 2 Mosaic Hearts out of sugar cube card stock to layer the heart so the colored pieces are puffy looking (they raise above the white outlined heart piece).
I sprayed a large piece of sugar cube card stock with Taylored Expressions Metallic Mist - Unicorn Sparkle - let it dry then used the Petite Scallop Stacklets to cut 3 different sized layers.
For the sentiment I used the new With Love foil panel with some TE Silver Shimmer foil and cut it out using the coordinating With Love sentiment dies.
Some of the funnest things to do is let your creativity soar ... there are no mistakes in crafting so don't be afraid to try new things and see what comes of it!
Thanks for stopping by! I hope I've inspired you today.
xoxo, Deby 💕
