š Pizza My Heart ~ Date Night
I seriously had so much fun creating all the pizza pieces for this card! Then when it came to putting it all together I couldn't help but create a "plate" with a partially eaten piece of pizza on it and of course had to leave some crumbs behind š. It's a perfect Date Night vibe, don't you agree?!?
Here's how it all came together . . .
First things first - building the crust and adding the sauce. I cut a circle out of Toffee card stock and a piece of Cherry Pop card stock using the circle pieces from the Pizza My Heart die set. Spritzed them with water then scrunched them up as tight as I could get them. Set them aside for a few minutes then gently pulled them apart - being careful not to tear them.
Next comes the 'cheese'. For this piece (not pictured) I cut a circle out of Buttercream Frosting card stock. Spritzed it with water. Scrunched it up super tight then carefully unfolded and flattened it then set it aside to dry along with the 'crust' and 'sauce' pieces.
Now for the garnishes ... I cut the "Olives" out of a piece of Mocha card stock. Cut the 'Pepperoni' out of Mulled Wine card stock then splattered them with mocha re-inker and Dr. PH Martin white splatter. For the 'Mushrooms' I did some ink smooshing on my glass board using a piece of sugar cube card stock and toffee and cinnamon inks to achieve a blotchy colored piece of cardstock that mimics fresh mushrooms. Then finally I took a piece of Peapod card stock and, using a mini blender brush, dabbed it with some Sweet Basil ink.
Next I assembled my Pizza, cut a slice then fussy-cut a 'bite' out of it then placed it on a plate I cut using the small Ridged Circle Stacklet die along with some 'crumbs'.
Okay now I am craving pizza š, how about you?!?
