Floral delight using the new Taylored Expressions Oat Milk color
After using the new TE Oat Milk ink and card stock these past few weeks I am pretty sure this will be one I grab often. It is such a lovely neutral shade that really goes with everything!
For this fun framed floral card I used a Tombow water-based brush pen as you may have seen in some previous Blog articles I've written. While I don't actually use water with these pens, they work really well to brush/paint die cuts with TE inks as long as you use a light hand and work quickly. I use this method often so I can use TE inks to color images as opposed to using alcohol markers.
Using the TE Bokeh Circle stencil I partially stenciled the left side of my card panel with the new Oat Milk ink then while the stencil was still taped to the card panel I sprayed it with TE Unicorn Mist then gently removed the stencil and set the panel aside to dry.
For visual interest I used the A2 Layer Stacklets to cut a frame that would fit in the area I wanted to "frame" the flowers in the upper left hand corner of my card.
Then before assembling I used a scrap piece of Rose Water card stock to cut the Thanks sentiment twice then stacked them.
For the splatter on the panel I used one of the light silver colors from the Gansai Tambi Starry color set then put it all together! And that's it! Another card ready to send to a friend.
Hope this has inspired you to grab some of your craft supplies to create a masterpiece for a friend or loved one today.
xoxo, Deby 💕
