đ¸ Alpha Bits Stripes & Dots in pink, of course!
This card came out so dang cute! It's whimsical, fun and cheery and really came together pretty easily! Read on to see all the steps!
For that diagonal striped background I used the Bold Border Blocks stamp set included with the Alpha Bits card making kit by first positioning the stamp at an angle then stamping it with Versamark ink, poured clear embossing powder over that then heat set it. Next I cut a piece of copy paper the same width as the stamped image and used that as a mask then repeated the stamping and heat embossing process after positioning the stamp in the opposite direction.
Next I stack the HELLO letters 4 deep so they'd really be pronounced on my card. As you can see below I used scrap card stock for the bottom letter layers. That top layer was cut after using the dotted pattern from the Bold Border Blocks stamp and heat embossing white dots onto a piece of Cupcake card stock.
Before adhering the HELLO letters onto the card front I positioned them using the set of 2 Cardmaker's Rulers available at the TE shop, a "T" ruler and also laid the scallop die down so I could get my spacing correct. Some things you can't just 'eyeball' đ!
You can find a complete list of the products I used down below for your shopping pleasure!
I cannot wait to see all the fun creations the TE Fans make and share on the TE Fans Page! How do you plan to use your Alpha Bits kit ingredients?
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope this has inspired you to stretch your skills next time you get crafty!
xoxo, Deby đ
