Painted & Embossed Feathers

For this simple Heartfelt card I began by embossing the card front using the Denim background stamp and Sugar Cube ink.
Next I chose one of the feather stamps from The Thing With Feathers stamp set and positioned it in my Misti in a way that I could stamp the card front once then flip the card stock around and stamp again on the opposite end.

Once I had the stamp positioned I grabbed a flat paint brush and dipped it into some of the new Shining Star Metallic Mist and painted the feather stamp with it then pressed it onto the card front. I may have repeated that until I got good coverage.
After I had one feather completed I flipped the card front around and stamped another feather on the opposite end in the same manner as the first feather.
I then grabbed a smaller paint brush and used the Metallic Mist to splatter the card front and set it aside to dry while I painted the outer edges of the card base with the same Metallic Mist - setting that aside to dry as well.
Once everything was dried I stamped the Heartfelt greeting from the Sincere Sentiments stamp set using Oyster ink then topped it with a layer of VersaMark Watermark ink, then heat embossed the sentiment with clear embossing powder.
I then grabbed the Metallic Misted card base and attached the card front. There you have a simple yet elegant sympathy card for that someone in need of your heartwarming thoughts.
Thanks for stopping by! Hope this has inspired you to create something special today 💕
