Taylored Expressions just "dropped" a new color on us and it is GORGEOUS!!!

This is, in my opinion, a slightly heathered green with hints of blue and it marries so well with so many other Taylored Expressions ink and cardstock colors. You will not want to miss adding Gumdrop to your crafty stash!!!
I had loads of fun making this project! My family owned a kitchenwares store when I was growing up and we had a HUGE coffee bar where we served over 40 different varieties of coffees and coffee drinks, Italian sodas, upscale confectionary, cookies .... so it goes without saying I LOVE COFFEE so playing with the Taylored Expressions PERK UP card kit ingredients is one of my favorites of all time ☕️
So for this card I used the new GUMDROP cardstock and used the new coordinating ink to do a little ink blending around the edges of the mug. And of course I had to leave some coffee rings made with a yogurt jar and Mocha re-inker because isn't that what our coffee mugs do every morning! Then the added sentiment is perfect to get your morning started ☀️
On this next project I have to admit, there's a typo on my Inkspiration card so I'll get a retake of the photo done and replace it in the coming days 🤦🏼♀️ I accidentally called Gumdrop 'gumball' 😬 Anyway, I wanted to show the versatility of ink blending so as you can see there are only 2 colors of ink on my card. Strawberry for the florals and gumdrop with a light hand and heavy hand to get those varied shades. I also added some sparkly fun using Taylored Expressions Happy Medium over the Gumdrop ink for the butterfly wings.
And while I had everything out, why not make a coordinating bookmark?!? I have lots of friends who are avid readers and they have grandkids who also like to read so I make bookmarks quite often that coordinate with cards so I have a nice gift set to give them.
